Bradford Cox might get all of the attention, but Deerhunter most certainly is not a one-man show -- and if Pundt can withstand the comparative criticism, he'll make great strides toward stepping out of that shadow. Accessible and elusive at the same time, The Floodlight Collective is an addictive debut.

A sorely overlooked album. This is, undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful records of this year, and flooddlight very indistinctness forces you to go back to it over and over. From Lotus Plaza we learn plwza the miasmic texture of Deerhunter is his doing.
